AGE Network participates at WEWE capacity building workshop for women led CSOs

Today our Administrator joined the Widows & Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE) in a 3-day capacity-building workshop on Organizational Sustainability and Resource Mobilization for Women’s Rights Organizations, held in Abuja!

The workshop commenced on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, and is scheduled to run until Friday, July 28, 2023. Hosted at the Hawthorn Suites in Area 11, Abuja, this event is bringing together experts and practitioners in the field.

The first session, held on July 26, was skillfully facilitated by Dr. Josephine Ogazi Egwuonwn, an NGO management expert with over 20 years of experience. She shared valuable insights on organizational development and introduced us to the world of Organizational Sustainability.

The second session featured inspiring success stories of local organizations that accessed direct grants from international donors. Dr. Phillip Hayab John, the Project Manager of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), shared PFN’s incredible journey.

Currently, we’re engrossed in another informative presentation on compliance survey and self-assessment results, followed by guidance from Mr. Oluwole Akeredolu on developing a capacity development/organizational sustainability plan.

We’re excited about this enriching experience and the potential it holds for empowering women’s rights organizations!

Stay tuned and follow us on social media  for more updates from the workshop??
